Bank of America illegally put my name on a line of credit. When i called to ask them to take it off. I was told that I waited too long and that since the other person on the loan had bad credit I couldn't be taken off. When i told them i never signed for the loan, nor was i aware of the loan until i applied for a mortgage and was told i needed to pay that loan off first. I was told by the "advocate" in the president’s office that I didn't need to be aware of the loan to be held responsible for it.

I need help getting my name off the loan. I find it impossible to believe this is legal

Case Details:
I was tossed around from CSR to CSR from Aug. to present. Finally I reach a loan negoitator that walked me through the steps with BOA. Only after recieving foreclosure notice from an attorneys office. I followed the steps of the loan neg. provided by BOA. She told me due to all the problems the formed a new department to handle the modifications. I submitted my financial statements and monthly payments in 48 hours as told. 2 weeks later I was told I qualified for a loan modifications. Weeks went by no word from the bank. A new loan document came from the bank and I completed it and sent in a check. However whenever I called I recieved the same message from BOA, "My home was in foreclosure." No one had a record of the load doc I sent in by 9/12/10 but they did show a record of a check posted to my account. I continued to get threating letters from BOA and brookers calling my house. I still can't for the life of my understand why I wasn't approved the first time. Nothing in my financials had changed...same income and same job. In mid-Oct 2010 after 7pm I called BOA asking if my load doc were good to go. Iwas told they were being reviewed. However again I was read the same script...you loan is in foreclosure. How can such a mega company not be able to share the correct info on 1 account number. Finally I called again late 20th Oct. 2010 and told that I would be keeping my home and my first payment is due in Dec. 2010. A letter should come to me soon. I asked why when is it when I call I keep being told the same thing regarding foreclosure. The rep told me my account was now in good standings but it is still coded for foreclosure. What in the world! I still got phone calls on my home phone and cell phone from brokers and realty companies. How embarssing. Where did they get this list? Why was it put out there before adjustments were made. On Nov. 5th I recieved my statement from BOA for my Dec. payment. And just last night a phone call on my cell phone from a broker saying they could help with a short sale. I am not comfortable. I don't have faith with BOA that my account is now up to par. And I an just sick that my person mortage info is out there and I am getting these phone calls. I want to be very..very clear. I never missed a Making Homes Affordable Payment with BOA and I was always on time. I should have been one of the people they worked with all along. And not strung along. This type of lack of contact and lack of staff education is difficult and stressful. No one...I mean no one needs it. What is more frighten is if I wasn't persisitant and constantly calling I would have lost my home. Heck...right now based on what the brooker from a local business said to me last night, I am still not sure what's going on.

Case Details:
I had several contracts for shortsale that were lost awaiting response from BA. My late fees, penlities etc.. added up to thousands of dollars with both lenders waiting on BA.. I am concerned I am now going to get taxed on the shortage from the shortsale. {. BA recieved 80,000 @ time of short sale}

They have already foreclosed on our home and did so we believe illegally. We have repeatedly asked for our blue ink copy of the loan but have recieved nothing. We believe/know that there are mulitple errors on the loan.
