i ve had 9 surgerys since this diagnose the last one took the cake my l 4,l 5 ,and s1 totally collapsed in my spine my back just broke actullay all 14 dr told me predisone did it plus i have now steroid induces diebetis,osteoperosis,glocoma,loss of teeth,arthesisrose heart blockage,nerapathy,and im im now finally down to 2ngs of pred and i am aching and hurting evert day of my life please ,please,help us that have been victims this drug is a big cammel fliagching joke that will kill u u can not live with long and some time short term usage og this drug

Case Details:
I have lost my career as a paramedic due to nuero deficits caused by damage exacerbated by a chiropractic manipulation of a fractured L-5 vertabrae. I have had surgery stabilizing the L-5/S-1 segmant and continue to have pain and nuero deficits causing disability. The manipulation of my spine was performed on 10/05/08 and I had surgery on 08/25/09. I believe my right to file exceeds the statute on 10/05/10.

Case Details:
Took prednisone,I have hypertension yet I was prescribed the medication. In Jan. of 2010 I had a Ischemic attack.

I saw my Dr.1-2 days after,She never ran a CT. Scan,or M.R.I.,or any test for that matter. 4/6/2010 I had a massive stroke,after seeing my M.R.I, A Dr. not associated with the insurance Co. said My pons was damaged by chemicals,suspect he said was Prednisone.

Case Details:
The nerve block injection to my sciatic nerve left my lower left leg and foot paralyzed. Almost two years later and after surgery to repair the nerve, I still have paralysis. both motor and sensory loss and neuropathic pain 24/7. During the procedure I complained of pain and he didn't stop....it was too late. I was an elite age group triathlete, having competed at Ironman Hawaii 3 times. IT is hard to run with a drop foot. He (the anesthesiologist) was in a hurry the day of my surgery for some reason, as vocalized by the nurses. I feel it resulted in him not following the normal procedure, landmarking the injection site, uncovering my foot to watch for stimulation by the nerve stimulator that was suppose to have been used, and not stopping when I complained of pain.

she has been bedridden since may in and out of the hospital and nursing homes which took terrible care of her now she has half inch deep open bedsores which are taking months to heal. her arthritus is eating her joints up because she cant take her rh medications because they inhibit healing process,it has caused us both pain and suffering and destroyed our lives,she will be paralised the rest of her life and she is 56 years old

in 2005 i had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured causing internal bleeding.It was diagnosed and two days later I was to have the damaged fallopian tube removed to stop the bleeding into my abdomen.When I awoke I was informed that nt only the tube was removed but also the ovary on the same side eventhough my ovary was not damaged.

Case Details:
Was on Prednisone and Dr sent me to SPECIALIST RHEU doctor to safely taper me off Prednisone. The SPECIALIST saw meonce, did not monitoring and refused my calls when I kept getting worse as Nurse kept ignoring the problem also.
I pleaded with the nurse to get in and Dr call me, she said the dr would call later and he never did. I was rushed to hospital and lucky to survive as one nurse recognized "Adrenal Crisis" syptoms. Most don't survive as time runs out while they try to figure out what I have. Blood Pressure was 50/30 when they finally figured it out. Now I am Permantly on steroids,and I am open to Crisis at any time as well as other problems. Even getting my teeth worked on demands a consultation with my Endocrinologist and Dentist. Health is Permantly damaged and my life is shortened.
