Jeep's own service bulletin recognizes the problem, only their method of repair doesn't work. Everyone that bought these vehicles will pay a heavy loss when trading them in or selling them due to water stains on all seating surfaces.

I have an 05 Grand Jeep Cherokee and I have cleaned the seats multiple times and they won't come clean. Plus, if sweat from a drink (water) falls on the seat it stains again. They need to be replaced, because there is no way to resale and not lose money for a defective fabric.

My 05 Wrangler Unlimited has water spots stained into the seats. I never realized that water could stain. Although I'm not selling my Jeep anytime soon (love it to much) it does take away from the overall clean appearance. I do alot of off roading and now I'm afraid to try and clean the seats. I wait for the mud to dry and pick it off so water doesn't have to hit the seats. It's horrible.

I have been agrevated by this problem for several years. Nothing seems to work to clean the fabric. I really think cleaning is futile since they will just reoccur. I can't imagine getting fair value for this vehicle upon selling or trading. Also the frustration and embarisment of dealing with this has been a pain in the ass.

The seats stain very easily and nothing gets it out. Even simple rain water will stain the seat. My passenger seat is also ripping and it isnt even 4 years old yet. I also have countless other problems with my 2006 Jeep that I think Chrysler-Jeep should be held accountable for.

I spent good money on a Jeep product that I thought had status since I had driven Jeeps my whole life (Wrangler, Cherokee, & Grand Cherokee). This was the first vehicle I bought with my own money and it looks terrible after water hits the seats. It does not live up to the Jeep standard and makes the resale value terrible. I will never buy another Jeep product again because of this. I have had to take my Jeep into the service department every 6 months and have my seats cleaned. Although they do the cleaning for free, it takes about 2 hours of my time away from my family to do this and it should be done at least once a month to make the vehicle look appropriate.

Stupid seat stains. It looks like I don't maintain my interior even though I do! I can't believe that when you pay this much money for a vehicle you HAVE to invest in seat covers. I can't stand them constantly moving around so I took them back off and am stuck with people seeing ugly stains in an otherwise clean vehicle.
