Case Summary:

Check the menu at just about every restaurant you can think of; BW3s, Damons, Applebees. Almost every pizza place now sells 'em as sides; Papa Johns, Dominoes, Pizza Hut. All of them advertise chicken wings, and all of them are ripping us off!

Check the menu at Papa John's for example:

"Savor the sizzle with ten plump and juicy chicken wings - $6.49"

But when you order them you're given only *five* wings! We're getting half of what we paid for, while they rake in the profits!

A chicken wing has three pieces: The drummie, the wing, and the nub.

Now the bony wingtip can generally be accepted as scrap by many chefs due as they are nothing more than skin and bone, so I will not hold this missing nub as unacceptable. However you're now left with two pieces of meat-on-bone. These dishonest restaurants are counting each wing twice when serving!

As further supporting evidence, check the supermarkets. Wal-Mart for example sells bags of wings that have also been cut into individual pieces- though they are sold by weight and not per-unit they are still labeled honestly as "Wing Pieces!"

I myself have probably been shorted out of thousands of wings in my time, and I'm sure many others have as well. For what they're charging, I want my missing wings!

Case Detail:
Tens of thousands of people could be involved as restaurants falsely advertise the cost of menu items, then fail to deliver!
