Case Summary: I've been going to a Quinco Mental Health Service for 6 months now. They have been treating me for depression and anxiety. However, they gave me a drug test and the results stated that I had marijuana in my system. To say the least, I was furious and terrible upset. I tried to explain to them that their had to be something wrong, because I did not smoke spot. However, they insisted that I was wrong and treated me unfairly. After I left the clinic, I went to my Primary care doctor and explained the situation. So, he had me tested, and the their test results said I was negative. Soon afterwards, I had my doctor to send the report to Qunico. Later that day, I called the nurse at Quinco to discuss this issue with her in order for them to try to work this misunderstanding out, however, she denied me any rights to my medical record to the failed drug test and would not agree to retest me or to order me a blood test. Case Detail: The fact is, I've been wrongly accused of being a marijuana user. I'm a mother w/ two children, I go to church, and I'm a full-time student for TCC. And now, I have a medical record stating that I smoke pot....I'm very distressed and I want my name cleared!!! |
