Case Summary:
Hello , My name is Ramona and recently got laid off. I went to (The Cittone Institute) school some years ago and received Associates Degree in Computer Networking. So I call myself going to continue my education. Well after applying to many colleges and universities I found out that I don't even have college level credits, yes 24 college level credits, that's like 7 more classes just to get accepted at any college and universities. I've tried calling attorneys and they all say they only represent children with disabilities. I feel like I have taken for like 20,000 dollars. Now I find myself Unemployed still paying student loans from attending this Institute and now most likely have to take more loans out for something I should have already had. Is there anyone you know that can help me. I'm already a minority, if people are paying to go to these Institutes they should be able to transfer to any college or university the want and they should be teaching at a College level. They are better off going to a 4 yr college. If I would have known that the classes I was taking at this school were not college level, I would have took out student loans or had my dad co-sign for one of them. This is not right! I may very well have to pay for a double education. Please Help! I know you can get the answers I need. I don't know if this falls under contracts or education. All I know is that I was misled.

Case Details:
When I graduated highschool in 2004 I was approached by a recruiter for cittone institute. They told me that they were an accredited school and that I would be able to continue my education after I graduated. During my time at school I worked for UPS in order to take advantage of a tuition program that would help me pay for school. After 8 months of trying to get UPS and Cittone institute synced up about getting my tuition paid for the Dean was fired along with most of the financial aid staff. The new staff members informed me that the school was no accredited and that I would have to transfer to a different campus in order to trick the gov. in thinking I earned college credits. In the end I owed 10,000 with a useless education.
