I bought a car in 2006 with the finance company being Drive financial. After paying my car note for over 3 years Santander took over Drive. After paying years of car notes they tell me I am not the borrower on the loan and I can't do anything and my name is on no paperwork. I have been the only one paying on this loan every payment over $19,000 and now I can't get credit for it nor do they intend to release the car to me as the owner. They now are pissed because they want to repo it and I won't give it to them. My mother was the co-signer/borrower and I was taken off loan all together. They are threatening me to have the Sherriffs come and shake my house down for the car and I am not even on the loan. But they have all of MY money.
