I needed a replacement phone from straight talk I sent my old phone back no problem they mess up my new phone that came in the mail was suppose to be already activated they messed up the switch of my phone number give somebody else my phone I had to go and buy a new phone since they won't send me a new sim card and on top of that issue why does straight talk advertise unlimted data minutes and text when my phone got suspended because I went over my data plan I didn't know it was a data plan I thought it was unlimted like they advertise false advertisement something must be done asap

After being throttled from 3g speed to 2g (prehistoric) speed, I decided to install a data management app. I set the alarm limit for 2.5 data lmit. To my surprise I was throttled at 1.5data used NOT 2.5 as they have been forced to confess to. I contacted their call center which is located in Guatemala. I was told there was nothing they could do that I would have to add another minute card. He did offer a week of free service only after I added another card, but what good is that going to do. I needed him to restore my phone back to 3g speed. I am shopping around now for another provider. I would encourage everyone who still has Straight Talk to install a (data management) app. to monitor your data usage so that we can catch these thieves and prove that they are throttling at 1.5 NOT 2.5 gbs.

I have been through several useless, rfurbished phones. I have spent several hour on phone with them and they have promised and not delvered, but the thing that gets me the most is that when I orded a phone on the website it sent a mesage that order did not go through so I redid the order and was charged twice. then they keep my money for 30days this has happened three times and it has also happened to my sister, my daughter and my son. makes me wonder how much money that isnot thiers are they holding at a time?

After my old straighttalk phone quit working ordered another one on Straighttalk website which required me to purchase a 45 minute service card. New phone arrived and moved number to new phone. New phone defective, cant unlock it to make calls, asked to be moved back to old phone until I could get replacement from straighttalk. Told me I had to purchase new sim card for new phone. I told them I just want my money for unused minutes and new servicecard since I cant wait 5-7 days for new sim or new phone. Was told no refunds on minutes at all. I cant use what I purchased so it is not right that I cant get a refund when it is no fault of mine they sent me defective phone.

I purchased a refurbished Nokia Straight Talk phone and a $45.00 unlimited plan online on August 28, 2012. I received the hpne on September 5, 2012. When I treid to adctivate the phone the screen read "SIM card not valid" Upon inspection I noticed that the sim card number did not match the sim number sent with the activation card. I spent the next two days playing phone tag with these thieves and being placed on hold for long periods of time. Finally, it was determined that the old sim card was sent with the phone and that they would have to send another sim card in order to activate the phone. At this point I opted out and requested a refund. Not only do I have to pay shipping to return the phone, but I was also advised that the purchase plan was non refundable. After a rather heated response from me, I was advised that I could still use the purchase plan to activate another straight talk phone. I went to a Walmart on September 8, 2012 and purchased another straight talk phone. When I tried to activate this phone, I was advised that the purchase plan was already in use and that I couldn't use it to activate the new phone. During a profanity laced rant, the thief hung up on me. They owe me $70.00 and I want it back! I live in Northern Nevada, but Straight Talk appears to be based in Indiana.

On or around Aug 13, 2012, my phone stopped working. I called ST where they asked to access my phone details. She asked if I wanted to keep the number which I said emphatically "YES" ... nonetheless she got rid of my phone number. during the week that followed they proceeded to tell me it's my fault and there's nothing they could do and there are no other supervisors to talk to. They even slipped up and admitted it was their fault during one of the these conversations. 4 weeks out I have detailed emails from them showing they are unable to get it back.

First month of use. Deactivating my account. Rendered my phone useless by blacklisting the IMEI the second month. Could not tell me how much data could be used. No data usage monitor on phone. Failure to disclose that MY equipment would be worthless. If a phone cost $200.00 and is worthless that adds up to millions.

They will allow you to buy another $200.00 phone and get a new account. That adds up to a lot of money by deactivating people. They are taking advantage of customers.

Invasion of privacy by monitoring my phone.
