Case Summary:
I have been dealing with amazon for a while now. They have suspended my account for some crazy reason. Customers have complained about the software I have sold on amazon. So amazon decided to refund the customers without returning the items to me at all. I have not received any returned items. I have sold software on amazon and software can be copied and loaded into a computer and used, That is why when a person buys software from a store it can not be returned at all. You can receive store credit for the same software but no cash returns are accepted with software returns.

Case Details:
Our company started selling with Amazon.com on November, 1 2012. The products that we sold were name brand clothing and merchandise brand new from the original manufacture. Two weeks after our selling account was opened we had sold over 100 products, and had made a significant amount of money which was nice because it was right before the holidays. Amazon deposited around $1,400.00 for the first two weeks of sales (obviously showing no concern of the items we were selling). Our clothing company had taken off so we reinvested in more inventory and took a lot more time detailing our catalog for our customers. One week later we had doubled our sales, had 100% positive customer feedback, and double the inventory that we started with. This is when the s*** hits the fan. Amazon suspends our account and falsely accuses our company for selling counterfeit merchandise. The good thing was that we had all of our receipt for every item we were selling or had sold. Amazon then demanded that we email or fax the receipts to prove the items were not counterfeit which we gladly complied with. The items sold turned out to be 100% real and not counterfeit. Amazon.com then contacted us permanently suspending our account and holding all of our money for the total amount of $2,403.34. The reason they said was because we did not have our items listed in the correct category, and they were going to hold our funds for 90 days. Let me remind all of you this was right before Christmas and the holidays. I started this business because I am currently an elementary teacher, and found out that I was pregnant with my first child. Trying to make a little money on the side to help with baby expenses I figured this would had been a perfect opportunity. Which in fact has been a complete nightmare. I contacted the Better Business Bureau explaining my case and Amazon has yet to respond back. It is now Feb. 3, 2013. I am 6 months pregnant and Amazon.com is still holding $2,403.34.
