Case Summary:
About a month ago I sold an item on eBay. A day later the buyer paid for the item and it was sent to my PayPal account. When I was about to go on PayPal to have the funds transferred to my bank account I noticed that the funds were removed from my PayPal account. I called PayPal to see why the funds were not there they stated that eBay took the money because I owed eBay 377.24 from when a buyer requested a refund back in late December of 11. In January I received a notice from eBay stated that until the amount of 377.24 was paid my account would be suspended. I refused to pay until I received the item back. I received the item the last week of february of this year then paid eBay in the amount of 377.24 to have my account reinstated. I have proof of this. I only sell items on eBay when I need money and my checking account went into the negative because all the funds were not available. I have received positive feedback from the buyer and eBay forced me into an uncomfortable position by paying 100 to ship an item in an item to maintain in good standing with eBay when they are unlawfully holding my money. In addition PayPal should be sued because they allowed eBay to take money from my PayPal account that should not have been taken out.

I was using PayPal to transfer $370 to my friend. For some reason, PayPal thought the transaction was fraudulent. After submitting bank statements, ids and other required documents, they decided to freeze the transaction and not return the money for another 180 days.
