I would also join in a heartbeat so would also most of the other people I went to school with. I had join ITT-Tech in 2011 and was told that the bachelors for Criminal Justice was roughly around 56,000 Thousand, Throughout the entire time classes were of little use, resources were of very little use and the faculty was non-existent untill it was time to reup on the loans. I check my loan information beause I decided to go to a Community College to keep going in school (Which does not accept ITT-Tech Credits I might add) and when I started to inform the loans of my attending of a new school I found out ITT has pulled 79,000 Dollars with of Federal and Private loans!!1 The private loans are also pulled from what i can tell is 3 seperate loaners all if which do not consoldiate the loans even in the same loan company!! For SCUC(Student Credit Union Connect *Loan Company*) ITT-Tech pulled 3 Loans out of this company one for 17,000 another for 2,500 and another for 439.00 dollars all around 15% interest. When I called this company and infomred them of my attendance to a new the Lady informed me that they will not do Student Deferment unless I go back to ITT-Tech!!!!! Also that they will not consoldiate the loans into one and each one is seperate! The same has happend to almost all my other college mates. At the graduation with your exit paper work it only shows federal payment of around 56,000 which I figured was ok, but not one mention of the Private loans. I also discovered that They had taken another loan for another smester after my graduation!!! These people are runing lives!! I was ignorant yes I will admit for not doing the additional research but they are taking advantage of the ignorance and using desperate students trying to build a future in order to gain more federal loans (Which is all handled by the school and you never see the money) They are taking out huge amount of Extra Private loans which I come to found out are Debt-Collectors!! I sill have deferment options which I intend to use but this has to end, It may be too late for us but we may be able to help those in the future from falling into the same trap. Over my tenure there 3 teachers were fired, my program the Criminal Justice Degree was nearly abolioshed which students were in the middle of the program and thier handing of the situation was simply outrageous. Several of us are all in the same boat now, with some at 85,000 and other at nearly over 100,000. And why the private loans?? Federal Aid covers nearly 100,000 for school which would have covered everything. They are destroying futures and inslaving people into debt. We need to organize and come up with regional groups that can communicate with each other on this matter. Please if we can get enough people across the nation to rise up against this and make enough ripples in the water we can beat this. They already had to shell out 730M in 2005 for this same exact reason and continue to do it. THIS MUST END!!!

I attended ITT from 2005-2008. I was told that my credits would transfer, I was lied to about job placement, I never recieved an exit interview, and I was pushed into applying for private student loans. I was never told what the interest rates would be on these (they are at almost 14%) and I was told that the repayment of my student loans would be affordable when I graduated. The entire curriculum was a joke. We had teachers who couldn't even use the progams. I never learned 3DS MAx - my teacher didn't know it and I could never figure it out. They would "accidently" put me in classes I didn't need. I had taken calculus 3 at a junior college and they threw me into a beginning math class at ITT. I have ZERO skills in my field of study. I am now paying $700 a month for a useless degree. This was the worst mistake of my life!!! If I never went there, I would be $700 richer every month and my credit wouldn't be a disaster....

I was an arborist at the time making well over 50k a year. My mom begged me to go to school as I was her only son working in one of the top 3 dangerous jobs in the world. I visited the campus, was buttered up by the old bait and switch method, was informed I would have a starting salary of 50k a year RIGHT OUT OF SCHOOL. I went through the program only to realize it is a scam. Once you sign those loan papers your credits don't transfer so you have no choice but to either take the debt of a semester there w/ no credit transfer or just toughen up and hope there's a job out there for you. The whole time I thought it was real until I Gogle'd ITT TECH SCAM(wish I had done that before I went there!) All of our professors were highly underqualified to the point where the students had to teach the instructor how to operate the computer programs they were supposed to be teaching us how to use. ON OUR DIME!$425 per credit hour!!!! Not only were we handed outlines and study guides for our test but we were ALSO GIVEN THE ACTUAL TESTS A WEEK PRIOR TO OUR EXAM DATES!These instructors inflated grades so badly that in one class there was this student Corey Burns, never showed up, had attendence issues constantly. All of the other students worked their butts off and when Corey came in to take his final exam he was told " you don't have to take this, here is a 'special' project for you. So there we were fuming at the fact that this kid didnt show up all semester and was given a home - work problem(specifically modeling a 3-d assembly) for a final project and they passed him with an A!!!! My only D- I recieved was given to me by Farley Cherry. And I quote, "I don't want to teach you guys any more than you want to learn. You want to do nothing? Me too!" So we did just that and to make matters worse we were given an insult of a final project to construct a paper and balsa wood model house. The class WAS SUPPOSED TO TEACH US HOW TO US 3D-S MAX!!!!!!!! WE OPENED THE PROGRAM 2 TIMES IN AN ENTIRE SEMESTER. I WAS DEVISTATED. Sure, I opened the program and taught myself.....but that's not what I was commuting 3hrs total per night of class. The CAD instructors were a joke. Our autodesk revit instructor had no idea how to use the program, and did I mention that the Dean in seat at the time told me personally that my minimum salary would be 50k right out of school because I was "so gifted". I went through 3 cars commuting to the Norwood, Ma campus for a sub par grade inflated associates degree w/ non-transferable credits. This whole ITT TECH organizational MAFIA must be stopped. I want restitution for my tuition and then some.

I am a single mother of 4 who recently had a divorce and decided to pick ITT tech Hillard ohio breckenridge school of nursing program I was told accreditaton was almost done to find out they did not get it and asked for an extension. Instructors didn't show up or quit and we never knew who was going to be "teaching" us we have a teacher that advised us we only have to tech. give a test not teach. they charge $10,000 dollars boasting on their great program but yet don't ever know if they will even have a teacher You cant ever get the dean or directors to answer any questions or return calls. I go to transfer and nothing transfers and find out I cant even transfer until all private loans are paid in full now I have wasted almost a whole year and owe a ton of money and cant even peruse my education because I was misled and "robbed" or time and money not to mention the emotional aspect of it all. Please help their are several of us from this school ready to see that they refund money and take away debt for misleading so many and stealing their time and money.

When I enrolled in ITT Tech Online I was going for my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and the was stealing money from me because I was not getting any rebate checks evry quater like I was told I would be getting then when I complained I got one check for 345.00 and then months later a check for 3.00. the next thing was the school took all my aid money and I had to drop out of school because they said I would have to pay out of pocket.. I attended that school for over a year and a half. I was going through online in MN

When I enrolled I was told that it was an accredited college and that my credits would transfer if at any time I wanted to contiue to learn elsewhere. Unfortunately after a year I found out that these credits in fact are not transferrable. They continued to raise rates while I attended school. I was told to sign for student loans that would be paid for after my financial aid came in. Those loans were never paid, and I had to foot the bill. After I stopped going to class the student loan bills came in immediately, I didn't have a grace period. I can not continue my edcation anywhere else, and I don't think it's right for them to get finanical aid for a degree that is no good. This whole school is bogus.

About halfway through the program, SAP became discontinued and was replaced with a more up to date program. **I was never officially told of this**, and was continued to be given out-of-date classes all the way to the end, when we had the final class project: with about 5-7 people. We passed thanks to the efforts of about 2 people. One of which programmed before he ever went to ITT Tech.

I was promised to be given a job by ITT. I was. A contract position, that pays nine dollars an hour and can go almost a month without any hours at a time. About august or so, 2013 I will be expected to pay over $700 a month for ten years. I am afraid, and will not be able to support a family if this is to happen. I wish to sue for misleading me, not telling me I was in an out of date program, poor business practice, grade inflation, and being overcharged for services.

I graduated from ITT in 2010 with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I am trying to obtain my masters degree in psychology but I was informed that I will not be able to be a licensed psychologist because my undergraduate degree from ITT did not hold a strong accredited. I was mislead because I was told that I would be able to transfer my credits and move forward with my education and I was never told that the accreditation that ITT held was as career based accreditation and did not hold water.

I had been attending such school for one year in 2006. Due to a family emergency I was force to take a month off with school permission. On my return a month later, they were asking for $2,000 to be allowed back to continue with classes. I had just lost a house, a car and to hear this was the insane. Why didn't they mention that I had to pay this ridiculous amount of money for nothing on my return. Because I was unable to pay them what they were asking i was drop and stuck with not only one but two huge debt. I get calls and letters everyday asking for my hard earn money. It's a shame this is allowed in our country. Misleading people to fall in unnecessary debt for a fabricated dream and into depressive lives. udfraAfter attending for 9 months ITT associates degree in information technologies. The state of Kansas shut the class down cause it did not meet requirements. Upon further research I found that they are not truly accredited. I now have over 10k in useless loans and no way to repay them.

I went to ITT because when I spoke to them at the opening of the Canton, MI school, They made it seem a haven for poor kids with poor family's that did not preform in high school and thought I had no chance going anywhere else. I went for about a year and did rather well, I had complications at home and was forced to move to FL and I was unable to transfer.The dean told me if I could not pay at that time I may want to do this thing called deferring my loans, also I was supposed to have had a bunch of grants "not loans"and a couple of loans, witch I could not pay so I took her advice and did it. I was then in FL and not receiving my mail, after a few months I started receiving rude phone calls from a collection agency and I owed Much more than I would of expected "then was about 30,000" so I refused to pay. and because I had deferred loans my bill jumped to around $50,000 and change in just around a year. I was furious and worse my credit had been ruined, So I was unable to go to any other schools. that all happened around 02 and 03, since then the collections have garnished my wages (HALF) for years and took ALL income tax refunds and stimulus and anything else that I have earned still to this day I have Terrible credit and garnished wages and still owe over $20,000 And have paid almost as much. For one year of school? I need help and I just want to get an education, I am not looking for money just the ability to have credit and go to communality collage. I have just been informed, by the school no less, that signing me up for classes I have previously taken is fraud and that is why they are now shorting me sechedual. Which is to say in my first and second quarter of classes they intentionally commited fraud to collect my VA benifits. I am currently working on my second degree with ITT. BIG MISTAKE! I am not really sure what i was thinking During the course of my first program I lost my home due to ITT withholding funds from me. After mush reassurance and a few people being fired (relocated?) I signed up for classes. Here for me is where things get a little fishy. Since I decided to go with a double associates I was informed I would have to take some classes I had already taken. While this was most likely an attempt on their part to get as much money as possible I was OK with it because it would allow me to maintain my focus on school as being a full time student entitled me to substance allowance from the VA. Now in my third quarter ITT is refusing to enroll me in classes I have taken previously (even though the past 2 quarters of classes 2 of my 3 classes have been classes i have taken previously) If it wasn’t for my amazing family I would be on the streets because of ITT and now they are trying take away my substance allowance from the VA by shorting my classes with a only a 2 weeks notice before classes start.
