Case Summary: I received an Award Claim Final Notification letter and a check ( a real check) about a week ago. The letter went on to state that the official release of the 2012 Customer Compensation Lottery Draw stated a ticket with serial numbers (on the letter) attached to my name draw with the lucky numbers. Went on to state I was entitled to the sum of $22,500 US dollars, this is from total prize money of $1.135 Million US dollars that was shared and presented among 50 declared winners and to note that all the participants were selected through a random computer ballot system drawn from over 100,000 names. To expedite the process, enclosing a check of $2,550.00 US dollars which has been deducted from my winning. That I will be using some money on this check to pay for the applicable TAXES on my winning $22,550.00. The Tax amount is $1,500 please make sure you get the address to forward this payment to the appropriate agent. Please do not attempt to use this check until you call and speak with the claim agent. Mr. Ray Mantes for further clarification and instructions on claiming your winning.Signed by someone other than the claim agent. Also the address on the envelope, the letter and the check all are in different states and countries. Case Detail: This is an outrage to not just myself but to many other harder working responsible adults that are trying to make a living and then this letter comes in the mail, it totally screams stress! This has to come to a stop! For what this letter and check has put me through, there is a need for a Class Action suit because I know I am not the only one. This really messes with a person making them think and feel that all their financial worries are taken care of only come to find out it was a mean scam. This suit needs to happen now! |
