Do you charge upfront fees for attorney help?
It depends on the option you choose. Pro Se preparation is free to start and File It Yourself is a one-time fee. On a contingency case there are no upfront attorney fees - we are paid only if you recover.
Are court filing fees included?
Court fees are set by the court, not by SueEasy. With File It Yourself the court fee is collected in the same checkout so you pay everything in one place.
What types of cases qualify for contingency?
Qualifying personal injury matters and select other cases. Every contingency matter goes through a free case evaluation first, and the 33% fee applies to the recovery subject to that review.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can start with the free Pro Se tools and move to File It Yourself, or talk to an attorney about a contingency or custom arrangement at any point.
